The Rescue Service informs that there are closed roads and difficult to pass roads in the Republic of Armenia․

The roadways leading from "Amberd" high mountain meteorological station to Amberd fortress and to Kari lake are closed.

Vardenyats Pass and Spitak turns are difficult to pass.

Black ice is formed on the roadways of Gegharkunik and Lori provinces, Sisian-Goris, Sisian-"Zanger", Talin-Mastara-Lanjik, Artik-Alagyaz roadways and Tigranashen turns.

It is snowing in Vardenyats Pass, Amasia regions, in the section called "Saravan-Zanger" and Jermuk town.

Fog is noticed in the section called "Meghru sar".

According to the information provided by the Department of Emergency Situations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and from the Department of Crisis Management Center of the Republic of North Ossetia of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation, Stepantsminda-Larsi highway is open for all types of vehicles.

Drivers are recommended to drive exclusively on winter tires.
