Ministry of Emergency Situations
of the Republic of Armenia

The Ministry of ES of RA has informed that some roads are closed and difficult to pass in the Republic of Armenia․

Berd-Chambarak roadway and the roadways leading from "Amberd" high mountain meteorological station to Amberd fortress and to Kari lake, roadways from H21 roadway leading to Berkarat, Vardablur, Hnaberd and Geghadzor villages of Aragatsotn province (blizzard) are closed.

Vardenyats Pass is closed for trucks with trailers and difficult to pass for other types of vehicles.

Vanadzor-Stepanavan (a part from Bazum village) roadway of Lori province became one-way passable.

Urasar-Katnaghbyur and Alaverdi-Jiliza roadways of Lori province, intercommunity roadways of Ashotsk region, Alagyaz-Artik (blizzard) of Shirak province are difficult to pass.

Black ice is noticed on roadways of Aragats region of Aragatsotn province.

There is blizzard on Nigavan and Saralanj villages of Aragatsotn province.

About Larsi

According to the information provided by the Department of Emergency Situations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and from the Department of Crisis Management Center of the Republic of North Ossetia of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation, Stepantsminda-Larsi highway is closed. There are about 410 trucks and 25 on the Russian side.

Drivers are recommended to drive exclusively on winter tires.
