The Seismic Protection Survey of MES of the RA informed, that on March 30, at 14.51 local time, a 3.9 magnitude earthquake struck in the territory of Iran, 15 km West from city Ahar. The geographical coordinates of the epicenter are north width 38.450 and east length 46.880. The hypocenter of the seismic activity was 10 kilometers beneath the surface. The tremor measured magnitude 5-6 at the epicenter area. The earthquake was not felt in the territory of RA.
