Traffic on the highway Vanadzor-Dilijan was restored 16:07 / 28.08.2014

On August 28, at 17.01 am, a call was received, that on Vanadzor-Dilijan highway, near the village Lermontovo, by preliminary data, stones crumbled, and as a result the highway traffic became one-sided. A combat crew left for the scene. Appointments in the Ministry of Emergency Situations 10:14 / 28.08.2014

On August 27, by order of the Minister of Emergency Situations of the RA Armen Yeritsyan, a series of new appointments were performed in the ES Ministry: • in the rescue department divisions of Malatia-Sebastia, Achapnyak and Kentron of R/S of Yerevan city, • in the most important objects protection unit of Rescue Forces Department (RFD), • in special fire detachment of ANPP, • in regional rescue departments of Kotayk and Gegharkunik.

National Seismic Protection Survey reports, that today, at 02:11am local time, a magnitude 3.1 earthquake hits the border zone between Georgia and Armenia, 17 km north-east of Ashotsk village.
