According to the requirements of the law on “Mass Media” of the Republic of Armenia and to No. 333-N decision of the Government of the Republic of Armenia, adopted on March 3, 2004, which established the “Exemplary Procedure for Journalists’ Accreditation in the bodies of the Government of the Republic of Armenia”, from December 20, 2022 to January 20, 2023 the staff of the Division of Information and Public Relations of the Ministry of Emergency Situations RA announces an accreditation of the journalists covering the activities of the MES. To be accredited it is necessary to send a written application addressed to the Minister's spokesperson, Grisha Kostanyan. The documents to be submitted are as follows:

a) full name of the legal entity engaged in journalistic activity, organizational-legal form and the location, in case of physical person – surname, name, patronymic name (if mentioned in the passport), and the address;

b) the surname, name and patronymic name (if mentioned in the passport), according to the passport, of the journalist to be accredited;

c) the name/names of the Mass Media represented by the journalist;

d) the e-mail address of the person carrying out journalistic activity and the e-mail address of the journalist, the phone numbers and a photo (3X4).

The representative-journalist implementing media activity based on the legislation of the foreign country is required to submit the photocopy of the credentials provided by the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs verifying accreditation in the Republic of Armenia in addition to the application, and the original certificate is to be presented by the journalist.

The representative-journalist implementing media activity based on the legislation of the foreign country is not required to present the credentials of the Republic of Armenia in the Ministry, if the branch of the Mass Media implements its activities in the territory of the Republic of Armenia as prescribed by the Law, through which the issue of the accreditation was put forward.

Accreditation is limited to one year time. If the written request of the applicant stipulates a less time frame, the accreditation will be provided for the mentioned term.

Not more than two journalists, two photographers and two video and audio operators can be accredited from any mass media outlet meeting the above mentioned requirements.
