To make Armenia a more disaster resilient country: the closing ceremony of the EU Twinning project “Enhancing Civil Protection in Armenia” took place

Today, on December 2, the closing ceremony of the EU Twinning project “Enhancing Civil Protection in Armenia” took place. The project launched in 2020, its aim was to make Armenia a more disaster resilient country and reduce the impact of various disasters on human life, the country's economy and communities. The final event was attended by Armen Pambukhchyan, Minister of Emergency Situations, Davit Hambaryan, Deputy Minister, Andrea Wiktorin, Ambassador, Head of the Delegation of the European Union, Patrik Svensson, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Sweden to Armenia, Anastasia Ezerets, Resident Advisor of EU Twinning Project, Tigran Petrosyan, Deputy Director of the Rescue Service, project participants from Armenia, as well as Heads and employees of different subdivisions of the Ministry.
