Earthquake hits 19 km south from the city of Ardahan, Turkey

On September 27, at 18:08 local time (at 14:08 by GMT), the Seismological Network of the Regional Survey for Seismic Protection of the MES of the RA recorded an earthquake at the northern latitude 40.93⁰ and eastern longitude 42.74⁰ geographic coordinates (19 km south from the city of Ardahan, Turkey), with 5.1 magnitude and 10 km depth.
The tremor measured magnitude 7 points at the epicenter area.
The earthquake was felt in Shirak Province with 2-3 points intensity, as well as in the city of Yerevan with 2 points intensity.
