Earthquake hits 3km west from the village of Khashtarak

On May 17, at 17:03 local time (at 13:03 by GMT), the Seismological Network of the Regional Survey for Seismic Protection of the MES of the RA recorded an earthquake at the northern latitude 40.93⁰ and eastern longitude 45.15⁰ geographic coordinates (3 km west from the village of Khashtarak, Armenia), with 2.5 magnitude and 10 km depth.

The tremor measured magnitude 3 points at the epicenter area.

The earthquake was felt in the villages of Azatamut, Ditavan, Aygehovit, Lusadzor and Khashtarak in Tavush Province with 2-3 points intensity.
