Earthquake 15 km northeast from the village of Bavra

On May 4, at 02:43 local time (on May, at 22:43 by GMT), the Seismological Network of the Regional Survey for Seismic Protection of the MES of the RA recorded an earthquake at the northern latitude 41.17⁰ and eastern longitude 43.97⁰ geographic coordinates (Georgia –Armenia border zone, 15 km northeast from the village of Bavra), with 3.2 magnitude and 10 km depth.

The tremor measured magnitude 4 points at the epicenter area.

The earthquake was felt in the villages of Bavra, Ashotsk, Sizavet, Ghazanchi, Tavshut and Saragyugh in Shirak Province, as well as in the villages of Paghaghbyur and Metsavan in Lori Province with 3 points intensity.
