Earthquake 18 km southeast from the village of Ashotsk

On April 5, at 13:27 local time (at 09:27 by GMT), the Seismological Network of the Regional Survey for Seismic Protection of the MES of the RA recorded an earthquake at the northern latitude 40.92⁰ and eastern longitude 44.02⁰ geographic coordinates (18 km southeast from the village of Ashotsk of Shirak Province, Armenia), with 2.6 magnitude and 10 km depth.
The tremor measured magnitude 3-4 points at the epicenter area.
The earthquake was felt in the villages of Saragyugh and Bavra of Shirak Province with a magnitude of 2-3 points.
