Earthquake on the 15th km north-east from Bavra village of Shirak province

On August 15, at 23:42 local time (at 19:42 GMT) the Seismological Network of the Territorial Seismic Protection Service of the MES of RA registered an earthquake of magnitude 3.3 and 10 kilometers depth with the geographic coordinates of 41.20⁰ in northern latitude and 43.95⁰ in eastern longitude on the 15th km north-east from Bavra village of Shirak province on Georgian-Armenian border.

The magnitude of the earthquake in the epicenter was 4-5.

The earthquake was felt in Bavra village with the magnitude of 3-4, in Amasia Zuygaghbyur villages with the magnitude of 3 of Shirak province, and in Paghagbyur and Metsavan villages of Lori province with the magnitude of 3.
