ES Minister introduced the newly appointed Director of the Rescue Service

According to his report, the Director of the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Vrezh Gabrielyan has retired. Today Andranik Piloyan, the Minister of Emergency Situations, expressed his gratitude to the Major General Vrezh Gabrielyan for his long-term service, significant contribution, impeccable and fruitful activity, and awarded an appreciation letter.

Andranik Piloyan introduced the newly appointed Director of the Rescue Service, Colonel Armen Gasparyan, to the Heads of the Regional and Structural Subdivisions of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. He became the Head of Yerevan City Police Department in 2020. The Minister wished Armen Gasparyan an effective service for the development of the system.

According to the Minister of Emergency Situations, Vrezh Gabrielyan had expressed a desire to leave the service months ago, but remained in office by his request. Vrezh Gabrielyan, r/s Major General will pass on his years of experience and knowledge to the younger generation: he will teach at the Crisis Management State Academy. It should be noted that Vrezh Gabrielyan was appointed the Director of the Rescue Service in November of 2019. Before that he held various positions: he had implemented the service for the homeland for more than a quarter of a century.
