Four ambulance cars were handed over to the MES

Today, on February 22 the monthly consultation of the Rescue Service was held. The implemented activities were reported, the issues were presented to the Minister. 979 boxes of food, 472 boxes and 63 bags of medicine, 241 boxes and 26 bags of clothes, 39 boxes of household items, 10 tents and 4 ambulances were delivered to the central warehouse of the Ministry of Emergency Situations during the last month. One of them was handed over to the Ministry of Defense, and the other three, equipped as special rescue ambulances, were handed over to the Rescue Service for allocation to the Medical Care Provision Department.

The first aid point continued to transfer the people and their vehicles left on the roads to a safe area and provide first aid during the blizzard in Vayots Dzor, Syunik, Gegharkunik, Aragatsotn and Shirak provinces. On February 1-18, 99 cases were responded to by temporary emergency points, 90 passengers were assisted by 103 vehicles.

The exercises on "Warning, evacuation, shelter" were held in 39 secondary schools and cultural centers, 16 communities of the regions, 25 secondary schools and organizations. Reference was submitted on the establishment of civil defense emergency points in Khndzoresk, Shurnukh, Davit Bek, Yeghvard, Shikahogh and Nerkin Hand settlements of Syunik province.

Andranik Piloyan, the Minister of ES, assigned to pay attention to the regional evacuation points, to take action for making them look proper. The Minister urged to take measures to prevent possible fires.
