Earthquake on the 3rd km south- east from Marmarashen Village

On July 2, at 06:11 local time (02:11 GMT) the RA MES Seismic Protection Survey Seismological Network registered an earthquake of magnitude 2.6 and ten kilometers depth with the geographic coordinates of 40.05⁰ in northern latitude and 44.51⁰ in eastern longitude on the 6th kilometer south- east from Marmarashen village, Ararat Province, Armenia.

The magnitude of the earthquake in the epicenter was 3.

The earthquake was felt in Artashat town, as well as Dvin, Marmarashen and Vostan villages with the magnitude of 2-3.
