Earthquake in Pakistan

On September 24, at 15:01 local time (at 11:01 by GMT) the RA MES Seismic Protection Survey Seismological Network registered an earthquake at the northern latitude of 33.110 and eastern longitude of 73.760 geographic coordinates (10 km north-east from Jhelum town, Pakistan) with 5.9 magnitude and 10 km depth.

The tremor measured magnitude 9 at the epicenter area.

According to ''РИА Новости'' news agency there were 5 victims and more than 100 casualties as a result of the earthquake.
