Minister Feliks Tsolakyan hosted Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China in Armenia

On August 6 Feliks Tsolakyan, Minister of Emergency Situations of the RA, hosted Tian Erlong, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China in Armenia. Minister welcomed the guest and mentioned with pleasure the multilateral and dynamic development between both countries and expressed a wish that cooperation between the Ministries of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia and the People’s Republic of China would make a progress, too. In today’s conditions the world quickly changes and raises new types and forms of disasters, consequently methods confronting and preventing them should equivalently be developed. Armenia and China are countries which have almost the same types of disasters. In this context F. Tsolakyan highlighted the exchange of the best experience through return visits. According to Minister China, which has made a technical and technological progress, can have mutually beneficial cooperation with Armenia, which can be a reliable partner on the Silk Road.

Ambassador T. Erlong expressed his gratitude for the reception, highlighted the partnership with Armenia and said that both our countries had numerous national-state similarities and were strategic and natural allies. He conveyed the resolution of the People’s Republic of China and the Ministry of MES of the People’s Republic of China to render significant support to the Ministry of MES of the RA and to solve thoroughly any problem.

He suggested F. Tsolakyan, on behalf of the Government of the RA, addressing an application to the Government of the People’s Republic of China, which would be accepted in Beijing with love.

At the end of the meeting an arrangement was made to get down to practical work through corresponding procedures.
