On June 14 the every-week recurrent comprehensive consultation of the Rescue Service was held in the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the RA. Feliks Tsolakyan, Minister of the Emergency Situations of the RA, held the consultation.

At the consultation Minister of MES touched upon a number of issues and gave assignments. The first issue, Feliks Tsolakyan drew attention to, related to the fire-dangerous situation in the Republic. Minister mentioned that according to the statistics of June the number of fires increased 13-14 times in comparison with the previous year and assigned to take the situation under control by the strengthened and operative regime.

The next issue related to the non-proper report on the hail registered in the provinces by the regional structures of the Rescue Service of MES. Minister strictly assigned to heads of the divisions to maintain a constant relation with the local self-governing bodies, as well as other stakeholder structures and to make a periodical report on which communities suffered from hail.

Minister touched upon the issues of the business trips too and mentioned that they were sometimes too exaggerated and inappropriate and highlighted that henceforth they would be implemented under a strict control.

F. Tsolakyan assigned to the heads of the Regional Rescue Departments to explore infringements and illegalities in the provinces relating this sphere and make a report on them about the above-mentioned issues by July.

In the framework of the visit to Gegharkunik in the previous week Minister assigned to establish strengthened regime on the beaches of Lake Sevan resting zones connected with the envisaged great flow of tourists. Minister mentioned that Lake Sevan was included in the five well-known holiday places for summer rest in CIS countries, therefore a great inflow of tourists was envisaged and there was a necessity to secure human safety by the strengthened service.
