Ministry of Emergency Situations
of the Republic of Armenia

On March 7, RA Minister of Emergency Situations D. Tonoyan received Andrzej Kasprzyk, Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office.

During the meeting, issues of readiness of civil and community structures for emergencies in border zones and issues of raising the level of resilience to disasters were discussed.

Minister Tonoyan presented A. Kasprzyk the activities carried out in the border zones within the framework of international humanitarian programs, to reduce risks and increase the population's readiness to respond to disasters, as well as outlined the ways of cooperation between the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations and the OSCE in the abovementioned areas.

In conclusion, D. Tonoyan and A. Kasprzyk visited the Crisis Management National Center, where the guest got acquainted with the technical equipment and the activities carried out by the Center.
