of the Republic of Armenia

On March 30, TAES Minister Armen Yeritsyan visited the Center of Conducting Special Purpose Rescue Operations (CCSPRO). The Minister toured the territory of the center, got acquainted with the current reconstruction activities, as well as technical equipment. The technical equipment of the center is intended to be replenished with 5 all-terrain vehicles, provided by RA Ministry of Defense. These ATVs are also used for transportation of patients and pregnant women through impassable terrain.

Equipment required for urban search and rescue team of CCSPRO, had been supplemented with new types of equipment, which met the requirements of “INSARAG” international standards.

Head of CCSPRO, Lieutenant Colonel Gevorg Galstyan presented to Minister Yeritsyan the center’s current problems. TAES Minister gave a series of recommendations for the solution of current issues.
