Earthquake hits border zone between Georgia and Armenia

National Seismic Protection Survey reports, that today, at 02:11am local time, a magnitude 3.1 earthquake hits the border zone between Georgia and Armenia, 17 km north-east of Ashotsk village. The earthquake measured 4 on the Richter scale in the epicenter.
The geographical coordinates of the epicenter are north width 41.200 and east length 43.920 .
The hypocenter of the seismic activity was 7 kilometers beneath the surface. The termors were felt in Bavra measuring 3.
According to the information received from the emergency situations department of the Ministry of Interior of Georgia there were no casualties or damages.
