Rescuers helped lost members of the expedition

On August 24, at 21:11, the Crisis Management Center of the RA received an emergency call, informing, that on the northern side of Mount Aragats, nearby Lake Qari, citizens, who had gone hiking, were lost. Rescuers help is needed.
A rescue squad of Aragatsotn regional rescue department, led by Deputy Head, Head of the regional CMC, r/s Lieutenant-Colonel Hrayr Darbinyan, was dispatched to the scene.
It was found out, that a group of young people, who had gone hiking, decided to divide into groups and explore the area of Mount Aragats. Nine of them had risen higher up the mountain, than the rest ones, then again divided into smaller groups, and one of the groups (a girl and two guys) had lost their way back, while coming down the mountain.
After short search operations, with the help of light and sound signals, the rescuers found the members of the group and helped to come out of the impassable area.
The firefighter – rescuers accompanied the three lost members and the rest 12 members of the group to the nearest residence.
