On July 30, the Minister of Emergency Situations of Armenia A. Yeritsyan hosted the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to Armenia Tengiz Sharmanashvili.
The Ambassador told the Minister of Emergency Situations of the latest legislative changes in Georgia, which resulted by the creation of a new diplomatic post in the embassy - police attache. The Ambassador was accompanied by the police attache of the Embassy of Georgia, our compatriot Kamo Galstyan.
As the Department of Emergency Management is adjacent to the Interior Ministry of Georgia, the attaché will also coordinate this sphere.
Ambassador Tengiz Sharmanashvili said, that they highly appreciate the close cooperation between the two countries and once again expressed his gratitude for the quick solution of the problem related to electricity.
A. Yeritsyan noted, that Armenia and Georgia are not only neighbors, but also friendly and brotherly countries, who are always ready to help each other:
-We are ready to cooperate in all directions, as the crisis management centers of our countries are in active collaboration and implementing the daily exchange of information. Now, we also have a new online version of reporting from the scene, and, if necessary, can provide you with a video made at the scene.
During the meeting, it was agreed to organize a separate visit for the embassy police attache to the ministry, so he could thoroughly get familiarized with the system of the ministry.
