Ministry of Emergency Situations
of the Republic of Armenia

On July 21, the regular weekly session was held at the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the RA chaired by Minister Armen Yeritsyan.

Deputy director of Rescue Service, r/s Major- General Vrezh Gabrielyan reported on accidents registered and recommendations implemented during the week. RS Deputy director reported on the massive training exercise conducted by Rescue Service at the Opera and Ballet National Academic Theatre and on internal qualification training exercises appropriate to the UN International Search and Rescue Advisory Group (INSARAG) standards, which will be conducted on July 21-29.

Minister was reported on the current operation of anti-hail stations and work being carried out towards the attainment of a new radar station. Last week 10 new anti-hail stations were installed in Lori.

A. Yeritsyan was presented the preparatory works related to the festive event, the celebration of Day of employees of the MoES, on September 4.

Heads of НКР Rescue Service and the regional rescue service departments, participating at the session on-line, reported on emergency accidents registered during the week, on current works, as well as on activities implemented towards the establishment of regional crisis managements centers.
