Ministry of Emergency Situations
of the Republic of Armenia

Among the significant achievements of the Ministry of Emergency Situations is the brass orchestra, which this year celebrates its fourth anniversary.

On June 20, in the yard of the Ministry of Emergency Situations the brass orchestra performed a concert for employees. Musicians of the orchestra gave the audience a festive mood, playing well-known and popular works of different times.

This group of devotee musicians, was founded in 2010, today it has been actively involved in various national events, and participates in various charity concerts, playing at honorable receptions, at the celebrations of Erebuni - Yerevan, Victory Day, New Year, on March 8th, Motherhood and Beauty Day .

The newly formed orchestra had its first performance in August 2010, on the Republic Square, during the handover ceremony of the new fire vehicles donated by the Japanese government, they started with small, but are moving forward with steady steps.

Recently, at the national Brass Band Festival, in Yerevan and Stepanakert, dedicated to Komitas’ 145 anniversary, received an honorary award. 
The brass orchestra of the MoES includes in its concert program both classical and modern composers: J. Verdi, A. Piazzola, A. Khachatryan, T. Mansouryan, A. Aivazyan, A. Martirosyan, A. Gevorgyan, etc.

The dance group of the Cultural Center of the MoES also partook in the event.
