RA PRIME MINISTER RECIVED THE DELIGATION FROM ILE DE FRANC REGION OF FRANCE

RA Prime Minister, Minister of Territorial Administration Armen Gevorgyan today received the delegation from Ile de France region of France headed by deputy president of regional council, mayor of Clamart, Philip Kaltenbach. The delegation has arrived to participate in Armenian- French conference on decentralized cooperation.

Deputy Prime Minister mentioned that they have already created considerable efficient cooperation, but the establishment of new relations will strengthen bilateral friendly relations.

A number of cities of Ile de France, such as Alfortville, Clamart already cooperate with cities of Armenia. Deputy President of regional council declared that they are interested in continuation of relations with Armenia in decentralized level and are intended to establish cooperation also with Yerevan. Cooperation with the metropolis is of primary importance for Ile de France, and the region has already partner relations with 12 capitals.

Deputy Prime Minister welcomed such an intention mentioning that the French experience will be useful and instructive for local self-governments of Armenia and expressed his willingness to promote the cooperation implementation. He also provided information on systems of territorial administration and local self-governing of Armenia.
