RA DEPUTY PRIME MINISTER GREETED THE HOLDING OF ARMENIAN-FRENCH CONFERENCE ON DESENTRALIZED COOPERATION

Today launched the working process of Armenian-French conference on decentralized cooperation; Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Territorial Administration Armen Gevorgyan also was present in commencement meeting and made a speech. The conference holding also was greeted by RA Minister of Foreign affaires, E. Nalbandyan, ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of France Serzh Smessov, as well as mayors of Yerevan and Leon. For the purpose of participation and discussion of issues on deepening cooperation with Armenian partners, nearly 130 delegates have arrived to Armenia from different regions of France, departments and nearly two dozen cities; among them representatives of Ministry of Foreign and European Issues of France, Union of Associated Cities of France and Association of French mayors.

During the two-day conference particularly will be discussed the role of local self-governing in decentralized cooperation, decentralized cooperation and economic development, teaching French and other issues on development and deepening of Armenian-French decentralized cooperation. By the end of conference it is supposed a charter acceptance of Armenian-French decentralized cooperation.
