RA Deputy Prime Minister and Mayor of Yerevan visited building sites of a new highway connecting Heratsi, Saralanj and Avetisyan streets

Today the RA Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Territorial Administration, head of the Governing Council of the Lincy Foundation Armen Gevorgyan and Mayor of Yerevan Ervand Zakharyan visited and familiarized themselves with building process of all four sites of the new highway connecting Heratsi, Saralanj and Avetisyan streets.

They started their visit from the beginning of Avetisyan-Papazyan crossroads. Visiting this building site, which includes a new area of 11000 linear meters of Papazyan-Azatutyan Avenue, as well as transport nodal point of Riga Street they saw that the works had already finished. Special working committee evaluated the construction implemented by "Janshin" (Kotayq region) as excellent.

The construction in the second site, that is the crossing point of highway- Azatutyan Square, were also completed and these works were also estimated as excellent by the commission.

Then RA Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Territorial Administration, head of the Governing Council of the Lincy Foundation Armen Gevorgyan and Mayor of Yerevan Ervand Zakharyan also visited the third site. That site included the transport nodal point of Heratsi highway with two footbridges and one transport tunnel , as well as a part of highway.

The highway is wholly asphalted, and street lamps are also put. Asphalting and other works were also made in the transport node.

Illumination in the fourth site – in the tunnel connected with Hertasi highway, has already done, asphalting and other works are still in process.

Armen Gevorgyan and Ervand Zakharyan familiarized themselves with the construction of underground tunnel, leading from Abovyan grove to Myasnikayn Avenue. The above mentioned construction is funded by the City Hall of Yerevan.

It was assigned to complete the construction activities till the end of September.
