On December 25, at 14:18 an emergency call was received to Lori Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred on Stepanavan-Vanadzor roadway near Gavar village: there were casualties.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MES of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that "VAZ-2106" car (driver K. T. born in 1934) ran off the roadway, slid about 10 meters and crashed into a nearby uninhabited small house on the 15th km of Stepanavan-Vanadzor roadway.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive battery and closed the gas valve of the car, moved the passenger L. A. (born in 1937) to the ambulance. The casualties were hospitalized to the medical center in Stepanavan town, where the doctors assessed their health condition as fair.
