On December 23, at 08:59 an emergency call was received to Lori Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred on Vanadzor-Stepanavan roadway: the reducers' help was needed and there was a casualty.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MES of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that "VAZ-2121" (driver A. E.), "Mercedes-Benz C" (driver A. B. born in 1978) and "Mercedes-Benz ML" (driver S. D. born in 1961) cars collided on the 6th km of Vanadzor-Stepanavan roadway.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive batteries and closed the gas valves of the cars, moved the driver of "Mercedes-Benz C" car to the ambulance: the casualty was transferred to the medical center in Vanadzor town.
