Cars collided on Artashat-Azatavan roadway

On October 22, at 18:08 an emergency call was received to Ararat Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred near Azatavan village: there was a casualty.
One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MES of RA dispatched to the scene.
It turned out that "Mercedes-Benz" (driver M. S. born in 1995), "VAZ-2107" (driver A. M. born in 1978) and "VAZ-2106" (driver H. G. born in 1963) cars collided near the bridge on the 5th km of Artashat-Azatavan roadway.
Before the rescuers arrived at the scene the driver of "VAZ-2106" car had been pulled out by the local forces: the rescuers approached the casualty to the ambulance. The latter was hospitalized to "Artashati Medical Center", then to "Erebouni" Medical Center, where the doctors assessed the health condition of the casualty as serious.
The passenger of "VAZ-2106" car L. G. was transferred to "Artashati Medical Center: the doctors assessed the health condition of the casualty as satisfactory.
The rescuers disconnected the automotive batteries and closed the gas valves of the cars.
