On September 24, at 08։30 an emergency call was received to Crisis Management National Center that smoke had been noticed from the half-built building on Arshakunyats Avenue of Yerevan city.

Two fire units and two water tanks from the Fire and Rescue Squads of Yerevan Rescue Department, the group from Management Division for Firefighting and Rescue Activities of the Rescue Service of the MES of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that the fire broke out in the territory of "Plastic" OJSC on Arshakunyats Avenue.

The fire was localized at 10։23 and extinguished at 13։14. About 120 square meters of izogam was burnt and 6 machine tools were damaged in about 150 square meters production area and reinforced concrete roof covering (about 120 square meters) collapsed. The firefighters blocked off the scene.

Two water tanks of the municipality were involved in the firefighting activities.
