Firefighters extinguished 50 fires broken out in about 129 ha grass areas involving 55 fire and rescue squads and 2 operative groups

On August 25, 35 emergency calls were received to Crisis Management National Center of the Rescue Service of MES about the fires broken out in various areas of the Republic of Armenia covering 200 square meters and more.

Particularly,

in Yerevan (Ajapnyak administrative district: 2000 m2, 1000 m2, 700 m2, Erebouni administrative district: 3000 m2, Kanaker-Zeytun administrative district: 2500 m2, 200 m2, Shengavit administrative district: 5 ha, Malatia-Sebastia administrative district: 600 m2),

 in Mastara village (3000 m2) of Aragatsotn Province, 

in Apaga village (2000 m2) of Armavir Province,

in Artashat town (5 ha), in Marmarashen (2000 m2), Dasht (3000 m2), on Mkhchyan-ditak roadway (3000 m2) of Ararat Province,

in Geghhovit village (100 ha) of Gegharkunik Province,

in Vanadzor town (400 m2) of Lori Province,

in Abovyan (1000 m2, 1200 m2, 5000 m2, 600 m2), Nor Hachn (600 m2), Hrazdan (2 ha) towns, in Arinj (5000 m2), Getamej (4000 m2) villages of Kotayk Province,

in Ijevan town (500 m2, 3000 m2, 1000 m2), in Varagavan village (4 ha), on Sarigyugh-Sevkar roadway (5 ha) of Tavush Province,

in Shgharshik (2500 m2), Vahravar (1500 m2) of Syunik Province,

in Sariar village (1000 m2), on Bagravan-Aniavan roadway (1 ha) of Shirak Province,

on Yerevan-Sevan roadway (1 ha, 7000 m2).

The firefighters localized and extinguished the fires.
