RTA in Hrazdan Gorge

On July 11, at 18:59 information was received that a car accident had occurred near “Geghama” restaurant in Hrazdan Gorge, Yerevan: there were casualties. The rescuers’ help was needed.
A fire brigade left for the scene.
It turned out that “Nissan Skyline” with license plate 35 SL 624 and “Toyota Scion” with license plate 40 AA 222 had collided, as a result of which “Toyota Scion” ran off the roadway and fell into Hrazdan Gorge.
Before the rescuers reached the scene the driver and a passenger of “Toyota Scion” had been hospitalized to “Astghik” medical center. According to doctors the casualties were in satisfactory condition.
The rescuers disconnected the automotive batteries of the cars and closed the gas valve of “Nissan Skyline”.
