RTA on Yerevan-Artashat Highway

On May 28, at 15:07 information was received that a car accident had occurred near the bridge of Mkhchyan village, Ararat Province: there was a casualty and the rescuers’ help was needed.
A fire brigade left for the scene.
It turned out that on the 17th km of Yerevan-Artashat highway “Mercedes C200” with license plate 34 AL 161 had run off the roadway and collided with a road signboard.
Before the rescuers arrived at the scene the passenger had been taken out of the car by local forces and hospitalized to “Erebouni” medical center of Yerevan town.
The rescuers took the driver out of the car and removed to ambulance car. The casualty was hospitalized to “Erebouni” medical center of Yerevan town. According to doctors the casualties were in serious but stable condition.
The rescuers disconnected the automotive battery and closed the gas valve of the car.
